There is a paradox also in the teacher's task.
On the one hand he must not mislead his students
by denying the complexity of the subject.
On the other hand, he must make it accessible to them,
so that they may be able to learn it.
The question is whether or not it can be made accessible
without being inappropriately simpified.
There is a distinction between complexity and obscurity.
To explain something is not necessarily to make it simple,
certainly not to oversimplify it.
