Mr. Francis P. Lynch, President Mount Auburn Hospital 330 Mount Auburn Street Cambridge, MA 02238 .sp Dear Mr. Lynch, .PP .fi .na Thank you for your letter of January 6, 1992, informing me that I had been reappointed to the Active Medical Staff. Unfortunately the approved departmental delineation form which specifies my subspecialty surgical privileges (photocopy attached) is illegible, and I am unable to determine from the face of it whether privileges to perform orbital surgery, laser surgery (argon), and laser surgery (yag) all of which I requested, have been approved or not. .PP Pursuant to Article III, Section 5, paragraph c. of the Medical Staff Bylaws, you would have notified me promptly by certified mail, return receipt requested, if the privileges in issue had been denied me, and since I received no such notification, I infer that these privileges have indeed been granted. .PP Nonetheless I request that you explicitly confirm for me that .ul all privileges, including orbit, laser surgery (argon), laser surgery (yag), which I requested have indeed been approved by the Board of Trustees, in order that, if my inference were incorrect, I might avail myself in a timely manner of the appellate review procedures provided by Article VII. .PP Thank you for your help.
