I just had a telephone call from Dr. Peters in Konnarock who tells me that Margrit has been vomiting up coffee-ground vomitus. Dr. Price thinks Margrit has an actively bleeding peptic ulcer which is responsible for the nausea and vomiting. Vital signs were normal but no hemoglobin was obtained. Dr. Peters prescribed 12.5 mg of phenergan which Buck Sheets is getting for her. I offered to drive to Konnarock to pick Margrit up, but she says she wants to fly to Providence or Manchester or Logan as soon as she can get a cheap flight. I expect she will be here in a day or two if she can get here before she has a debilitating hemorrhage. There's no need for you to telephone at this juncture. I'll keep you informed by e-mail about her arrival and other details, and if necessary turn to Laura for advice in the absence of instructions from you.
