I spoke with Margrit on the phone about an hour ago. She has just taken phenergan 12.5 mg. She seems distant and detached. Told me that she had made a plane reservation to fly to Boston on Tuesday October 20, but didn't remember the time and would call me back. I called again, she was using the portable phone and said she would call me back in an hour or two, then hung up. My inference is that she's unable to drive, unable to pack, and may or may not be able to purchase her plane ticket and may be unable to change planes in Charlotte or Pittsburgh. I plan to negotiate with Jeane to give Margrit the help she needs to pack and to get her on the plane. One question: can US Airways be relied on to help her switch planes in Charlotte or Pittsburgh, or would they refuse to take her at all if they were informed that she might be confused and acutely ill? An alternative is for Mommy and myself to drive down to fetch her. Mommy doesn't want to fly, and doesn't want me to go by myself and leave her behind.
