The issue of imbalance comes back to my mind.
At the beginning, the patients complaint:
I feel dizzy, unsteady, as if I were going to fall,
I feel faintified. Fainting. Petit mal epilepsy.
Nausea.

insufficient perfusion of the brain as from low
blood pressure, hemorrhage, bradycardia or cardic
arrhythmia;

intoxication, of which alcohol is the most common,
carbon monoxide, barbiturates, narcotics

as distinct from true vertigo
