re: Anselmo Tabit, d.o.b. 04-21-1937 Dr. Peter Lou 10 Hawthorne Place, Suite 106 Boston MA 02114 Dear Peter, .PP Thank you for seeing Mr. Anselmo Tabit. About 10 years ago he had bilateral laser iridotomies by dr. Boulris for plateau iris with incipent angle closure. About one year ago, Dr. Shingleton performed cataract extraction OD with IOL implantation. Mr. Tabit now complains of pigmented floaters and intermittent blurring of vision in the operated eye. His account is not typical for intermittent vascular occlusion. On physical examination I find nothing to explain his symptoms, I don't have a diagnosis, and that's why I'm asking for your help. Sedimentation rate and Doppler studies of the carotids have not been obtained. .PP On examination: VA OD 20/20, OS 20/50, Applanation tension OD 15, OS 15. Fields are full to 9W/1000. Anterior segments are normal except for PC IOL OS, and immature cataract OS. The iridotomies are open. The posterior pole OD appears normal. There is no view of the posterior pole OS through the undilated pupil. .PP Thank you for your help. .nf Sincerely yours, Ernst J. Meyer, M.D.
