Ernst J. Meyer, M.D. 174 School Street Belmont MA 02478 617-484-8109 January 27, 2009 Mr. Jim Adams Pavilion Apartments One Lafayette Plaisance Street Detroit MI 48207 Dear Mr. Adams, This letter, which I will transmit by fax is to confirm our telephone conversation of this afternoon and to authorize the removal from Apt. 1615 of all furniture belonging to the estate of Margrit Meyer. I have spoken on the 'phone with a gentleman who identified only as "Alan" and works at an establishment that calls itself "Bargain Dollar Resale", 3755 Holborn Street, Detroit MI 48211, 313-923-2480. Alan told me that he had visited Apt 1615 at the Pavilion today, and after inspecting the furniture there, he offered to remove it without charge. We agreed that no money should change hands. I instructed Alan that the electric range, the refrigerator, the venetian blinds, the loose slats lying in the small bedroom and the closet doors lying on the floor of the hallway were all Pavilion property and should not be taken. Alan proposes to remove the furniture on Friday, January 29, 2010. My two brief telephone conversations with him left me with a favorable impression of Alan as a responsible individual. Please give Alan access to the furniture that belonged to my sister and take whatever precautions you consider appropriate for the protection of the property of the Pavilion. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE FURNITURE IS TAKEN AND THAT NOTHING IS LEFT BEHIND. If you have questions, please telephone me at 617-484-8109 or e-mail me at ernstmeyer@earthlink.net Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Ernst J. Meyer
