Dear Anna, Thank you for forwarding the information about your lodgings in Green Cove. Klemens, Laura and three of the grandchildren expect to arrive tomorrow, July 12, around midnight after a non-stop drive from Masssachusetts. On Tuesday evening, July 13, Rebekah is flying into Charlotte, where Klemens and I plan to meet her. I expect Klemens and his family to drive back to Belmont on Saturday or Sunday July 17 or 18. I don't know which. Margaret and I will stay in Konnarock until July 23. Except to come to your supper Friday evening, neither Klemens nor I have made any plans. Given that we have only three working days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we should talk either by telephone or face to face as early as possible. Tuesday morning Klemens will be catching up on his sleep. Tuesday afternoon he and I will be heading to Charlotte. Wednesday morning, if possible, would be a good time for us to make plans. Our phone, 276-388-3111 should be free, when it's not tied up with the Internet. There are no cell phone signals anywhere in Green Cove or Konnarock, - not even on White Top when I last tried. But I check my e-mail several times each day; also feel free to drive up to the house unannounced at any time. We look forward to seeing you and the rest of the family. To how much ceremony we can rouse ourselves, remains to be seen. Jochen
