Dear Marion,

A corollary of our recent discussion of evidence, history
and reality seems to me to be the observation, that both the
natural sciences and the cultural sciences, if you will,
Naturwissenschaften und Geisteswissenschaften, invite us into
virtual museums where the accomplishments of scientists and
scholars are on ever-changing displays. We, who carre about
and try to understand the sciences and the humanities are
visitors in the respective museums, whose treasures far exceed
our abilities to assimilate and even to understand.
