           Dear Mr. Gordon,

                Thank you very much for your fax transmissions.  The
           letter which you sent was particularly helpful. I am very
           much pleased - and very grateful to you - that the plumbing
           permit for 3 Red Barn Road has finally been issued. I'm 
           confident that the Inspector will concur with your judgment
           and find that the plumbing as installed meets the requirements
           of the Code. As we have agreed, I will be present at the rough
           plumbing inspection.

                I can come to Nantucket on one day's notice any day.
           Because I usually take the regular ferry, I would prefer
           an appointment at 2 p.m. or later.  However, if necessary,
           I could take the fast ferry or fly from Hyannis so as to be
           on Nantucket in the morning.

                Please telephone me when you have an appointment for
           the inspection. The preferred number is 617-484-8109. If

           cell phone turned off, and I do not check my cell-phone
           voice messages. My cell phone number is 617-548-5768, but
           please don't use it unless you know that I'm on my way to
           Nantucket or that I'm on the Island.

           Then I will write another check for $1000.- and mail it to
           you together with a copy of this letter.
