Please be advised that Mr. Loring, the above-captioned
patient has open angle glaucoma treated hitherto with
Xalatan eye drops. Most recently, instead of the trade-marked
"Xalatan", Mr. Loring's druggist dispensed to him the 
generic equivalent "latanoprost".

Mr. Loring is under the impression that
his insurance
policy will no longer pay for Xalatan
because a generic equivalent is available,
and will not pay for the much less expensive generic
equivalent lanatoprost because of an administrative error
on the part of his insurance company.

Please investigate this anomaly. Please provide payment for
either lanatoprost or Xalatan. Please advise both Mr. Loring
and myself of your determination.
