_                Please be advised that Mr. Loring, the above-captioned
_           patient, has open angle glaucoma treated hitherto with
_           Xalatan eye drops. Most recently, instead of the trade-
_           marked "Xalatan", Mr. Loring's druggist dispensed to him the
_           generic equivalent "latanoprost".
_
_                Mr. Loring is under the impression that his insurance
_           policy will no longer pay for Xalatan because a generic
_           equivalent is available, and will not pay for the much less
_           expensive generic equivalent latanoprost because of an
_           administrative error on the part of his insurance company.
_
_                Please investigate this anomaly. Please provide payment
_           for either latanoprost or Xalatan. Please advise both Mr.
_           Loring and myself of your determination.
