Dear Marion, Thank you very much for your letter. I'm pleased for you that you are feeling well and that you are planning to travel. I very much look forward to conversations with you when you are in Belmont, conversations about many matters, not limited to pulmonology. My suggestion is that you ask your HMO to hand to _you_ your medical record(s) and the CD with the X-ray and CT scan images, and that you consider these a medical passport and take them with you on your travels, - just in case. When it's convenient, I would like to have copies both of the medical record(s) and of the image CD. If not before, they could be duplicated while you are in Belmont. As you understand, I myself have no access to a pulmonologist. Once Klemens has seen your medical record and the images on the CD, you and he must decide whether it would be helpful to you for him to discuss your respiratory problem with a pulmonologist at his hospital. I'm uncertain whether an appointment for a non-emergency consultation with a Boston pulmonologist would be of value to you. That also is an issue about which I must defer to Klemens and to yourself. Please keep me informed about the state of your health and your travel plans as they evolve. Perhaps in a few days, I'll have a more substantial letter for you. Jochen
