Dear Mr. Esposito,

Please do not send the letter to Mr. Ciarmataro of which
you sent me a draft. I respectfully ask that you not communicate
with Mr. Ciarmataro at all about 3 Red Barn Road in any way.

My problem, as I understand it, is a legal problem not a plumbing
problem, and it is my fault that I did not give you an adequate
explanation of the legal situation in which I find myself.

I'm deeply appreciative of your efforts on my behalf; I want to
pay you, and I will pay you for every minute that you spent on
our project. Please e-mail me an invoice for the entire amount.
Bank of America has assured me: a) that they have stopped payment
on the $610.00 check which was lost, and b) that the $610.00 
would be credited to my account by the end of business on
Tuesday. I am prepared, as soon as that credit has been issued,
to direct Bank of America to issue and mail to you a second
check in the amount of your entire charges.

Given the sympathy and effort which you have devoted to my
problem, I owe you an explanation of why I do not believe it
would be to my advantage to use either the letter which you
drafted or any legitimate modification of that letter. However
such an explanation, if you wished it, I would prefer to give
in a brief telephone conversation.

invoice so that I can see to it that you are paid promptly.
