Dear Cyndy,

Thank you for your letter. My apologies for inundating your e-mail box with correspondence concerning the plumbing. I very much enjoy the drama, the comedy, the irony - take a look at Mr. Esposito's $1450.00 letter and my replies.  I send you all this in the expectation that just possibly you also might find it interesting.

In a different vein, the correspondence between Helmut and Nathaniel which I forwarded to you. It originated in a short essay - in German - which Nathaniel wrote for his language course at Yale. That essay also I find very revealing. I've made a translation for you which I append to this letter.  Notice that the subject is the Tanglewood concert which we attended after leaving the Pirates performances in Canaan in ?2005.

Margaret and I are planning finally to leave for Konnarock on Saturday morning. We're both old and forgetful, and we have difficulty getting our act together, but we do the best we can.
