Dear Benjamin,

Just a week from today, I plan to drive to Hanover to spend,
as I wrote, not less than one and not more than three hours
with you, assuming that the roads are clear of snow and that
the abscess in my jaw which began three days ago, continues
to improve. If this plan still suits you, please let me know
the time and the place at which we should meet. If the date,
January 28, is no longer convenient for you, please don't be
embarrassed to let me know. My feelings wouldn't be hurt. All
that matters to me is that you should be well and happy.
