Draft e-mail NOT SENT The technician an Chico's drove the car. Said: "It might be the beginning of a problem." Wanted to keep the car to remove all the wheels, check all the cylinders etc. Refused to give me an estimate for the proposed diagnostic procedure. Refused to give me an estimate for "bleeding" the system to remove the air. Said that the presence of air in the system was an indication of a fault that required repair. I disagree. It seems possible that air entered the brake lines concurrently with the recent repair, and that "bleeding" the system would be a reasonable and inexpensive diagnostic procedure. But I'm not persuaded that it's necessary at this time.
