The conduct of the Board in condoning the actions of the
Nantucket Plumbing inspector, and by its silence in effect
endorsing his Inspection Report and Condemnation Order,
has shifted the focus from the adequacy of my plumbing
to the constitutionality of the Boards Rules and Regulations.
Rules and Regulations which enable the Inspector to prevent
truthful testimony by a licensed master plumbers with
whom he disagrees and whose testimony he wishes to suppress
by withholding from such licensed master plumbers
a plumbing permit which is in fact issueable and revocable
at the Inspectors discretion.
