Dear Mr. Gordon, Thank you for your letter, which I have forwarded to the Clerk of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, with the required copies to Mr. George X. Pucci, the lawyer for the Nantucket Building Department and Mr. Kirk G. Hanson, the assistant attorney general representing the Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gasfitters. Attached to this e-mail is the document that I sent to them. I consider my work to be complimented by the claim that I am concealing the identity of the person who installed the plumbing at 3 Red Barn Road. The world in which we live is a strange place indeed. I doubt that you will have any response from any of the recipients of your letter, but if any questions are raised, please feel free to forward them to me for my comments. I expect many weeks, if not months to elapse before the Court issues its decision. Meanwhile, as you may have read, we are having a very cold winter with more than the usual snowfall. But spring is on the way. As before, my very best wishes to you and your wife. Sincerely, Ernst Meyer
