I got less work done on the plane than I had hoped because the man
sitting next to me wanted to know what sort of tablet I was using. He
was a very intelligent and thoughtful engineer who had made his money in
IT, looked for a business to buy, and ended up buying a business
manufacturing and selling bows and ribbons as Christmas decorations. He
has 21 employees; apart from one other person, everyone else
manufactures bows and ribbons. Revenue is 1.5 million. We had a very
broad and deep conversation about technology and society.

I am working in my room before the first meeting, looking at the
mountains. I will leave earlier than I had anticipated, because the
Saturday session was cancelled. Therefore, I will be able to fly home
Saturday morning, arriving in Boston at 7:05 pm. That's much better. 

Say hello to Mommy for me. I agree with you that limiting fluid intake
is not a good strategy.

Mommy and I are well. The weather is warm and sunny.
I managed to repair the computer which had failed here last October. It
had a software problems. The rom-bios had been corrupted. After much
fidgeting with the on-off switch I managed to start the machine; I then
restored the factory settings of the rom-bios, modifying only the
command that causes the computer to start spontaneously on resumption of
interrupted power. I now have available
16 video channels. I don't know whether the marginal value of an
additional eight images is worth the additional cable clutter and
maintenance efforts.

I've been urging Mommy not to try to control her incontinence by fluid
restriction which entails dysuria presumably from a low grade
urethritis-cystitis. She has been very quiet, slept well last night and
has fewer complaints. She seems satisfied to be in Konnarock. She has
started to resume reading, - or at least looking into an open book.

I hope your flight was not too ennervating and that your computer
conference this evening goes well. Ein dickes Fell ist eine Gottesgabe.
