Dear Cyndy, Thank you for your letter. Thank you also for the key, which I foound in your letter in the mail box as I drove to the transfer station a.k.a. dump with a minivan full of plastic bags full of trash. The key is the second piece of mail we've received here since our arrival on May 3, - the first being a formal invitation from Leah to attend her french horn recital on June 7. but we're in Konnarock and won't be able to attend. Nothing from the plumbing board, no answer to two letters, the last one by certified mail. Klemens and I are speculating that the Board may ignore the Appeals Court on the hypothetical grounds, if they were to be articulated, of the separation of powers. A constitutional crisis! which would require yet another lawsuit. Would I be able to stay alive long enough even to launch it? I told the Appeals Court that the Plumbing Board was a Potemkin Village in the Executive, far out of the reach of the Judiciary to rehabilitate. But the Appeals Court didn't listen to me and is trying to demonstrate that it can compel the Plumbing Board to legality. I doubt it; but we'll see, and it will be interesting. Interesting also that Mr Ciarmataro was arrested (and released on bond) for having violated a restraining order obtained by his estranged wife, and because he had done so using a municipally owned truck, he was placed on administrative leave pending his trial. I'm not sure how these circumstance will affect his testimony in the coming hearing if he comes to testify. Where oh where is Lewis Carroll when there's so much material for another chapter or two added to Alice in Wonderland? Good night, and my best to both yourself and Ned. Jochen
