Dear Mr. Esposito, 1. Thank you for your prompt reply. 2. The Board denied my request to hold the Hearing on August 7. 3. Instead, the Board requires me to "negotiate" a mutually acceptable date for the Hearing with the Nantucket Building Department. 4. To be able to negotiate I need to be able to offer several alternative dates. 5. The dates which I would like to offer are August 6, 2014, August 27, 2014, September 3, 2014, or September 24, 2014. 6. My question to you is simple: Please let me know if any of those dates do NOT suit you to come to Boston to testify. 7. In his instructions to me, the Board's lawyer, Mr. Charles Kilb, specified the first and last WEDNESDAY of each month as the dates of Board meetings and as potential Hearing dates. 8. However, because the Board has in fact been meeting on THURSDAYS, I believe Mr. Kilb to be in error, and that ultimately the dates for the Hearing will turn out to be: August 7, 2014, August 28, 2014, September 4, 2014, or September 25, 2014. Please let me know also if any of these do NOT suit you. 9. Thank you very much for your help. I'm sorry life is complicated, but that's not (entirely) my fault. Sincerely, Ernst Meyer
