Dear Mr. Pucci, Thank you for your reply. Mr. Gordon, the plumber, hasn't answered my inquiry about his availability on July 30, but both he and the engineer, Mr. Esposito have assured me they could come to Boston to testify on August 6. You may or may not know that the Hearing before the Plumbing Board in 2013, initially scheduled for May 30, was then postponed on very short notice to June 27, at the behest of your client. My witness, Mr. Gordon, flying in from Florida for the Hearing, will make reservations and purchase plane tickets, for which I have promised to reimburse him, well in advance of his trip, cancellation of which will incur substantial expenses. Before making a commitment as to the date, I wish to have from you a promise that if the hearing on the date of which we agree is postponed at the behest of your client, or on account of your client's failure to appear, that you will then reimburse me for all my direct and indirect expenses in consequence of postponement or cancellation of the Hearing, specifically including, but not to the exclusion of others, the travel expenses of Mr. Gordon. Sincerely yours, Ernst J. Meyer
