NOT SENT ======== Dear Mr. Pucci, Attached is a copy of my e-mail to you of April 6, 2012. One of my predictions has come true. I don't know why Mr. Ciarmataro is no longer employed by the Town of Nantucket, but I interpret Footnote #7 in the 2013-P-1536 decision as a threat to Mr. Ciarmataro's plumbing license if he fails to appear at the Hearing and if the competent evidence in the record is interpreted, as I believe it will be, to show that Mr. Ciarmataro's Inspection Report and Condemnation Order was and is, false and fraudulent. The Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters has given no indication that it would on its own initiative revoke Mr. Ciarmataro's plumbing license, but if ordered by the Appeals Court, it would have no choice but to do so. Inasmuch as I will appeal any adverse decision, and inasmuch as I believe the record on which I would appeal may be interpreted as evidence of a criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice on the part of Messrs. Ciarmataro, Ramos and Butler, I believe that by their endorsement of the Inspection Report and Condemnation Order in sworn testimony before the Board, Mr. Ramos and Mr. Butler are placing their professional licenses at risk. I do not want any of the three, Messrs. Ciarmataro, Ramos or Butler to suffer professional injury in consequence of this litigation. If in your professional judgment, you find my concerns to be valid, please do your utmost to protect these three gentlemen from their lack of legal skills, and please always remember that even though the process of litigating is not burdensome to me, I'm always prepared to be generous and to compromise. Sincerely yours, Ernst J. Meyer ============================================= re: Meyer v. Nantucket Building Dept. SUCV 2008-05664 Dear Mr. Pucci, As I contemplate another hearing before the Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gasfitters in the above-captioned case, I am concerned about the risk for Mr. Ciarmataro, of whom as you may infer from our prior correspondence, I am quite fond, and whom I wish very much not to hurt. Please review carefully the memoranda I have recently filed, and consider the possible consequences for Mr. Ciarmataro's employment and even for his plumber's license when these memoranda are emphatically brought to the attention of the Board. Government agencies such as the Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters maintain their legitimacy by making scapegoats of individuals whose awkwardness illuminates the impracticality and irrationality of their regulatory efforts. If in your professional judgment, you find my concerns to be valid, please do your utmost to protect Mr. Ciarmataro from himself, and please always remember that even though I derive much satisfaction from the process of litigating, I'm always prepared to be generous and to compromise. Sincerely, Ernst Meyer
