Dear Nathaniel, For reasons that are not entirely clear to me, I've been thinking of you, thinking of you a great deal, - and as I was editing my letter to Niels Holger Nielsen and writing about medicine as "Geisteswissenschaft" - the original term in English, derived from John Stuart Mill is "moral science", I had an idea which I hope you will consider. I asked myself whether you would have the emotional stamina to survive the four years of medical school - with a plan to become a psychiatrist, specifically a psychiatrist specializing in music therapy. You'd have the field to yourself, - no competition, no one else would be able to do what you could do, - you'd have a world of customers, since the whole world is crazy. You might end up organizing and conducting an orchestra, - paid for by Medicare. Think about it, and if you think it's worth talking about, consider talking to me. Love, Jochen
