Jeane's younger sister Linda died this morning of brain metastases.

I've had a quiet, pleasant day, grocery shopping in Chilhowie,
an hour of lawn mowing, and writing.  The weather has been sunny
and mild.  I still have much more on my mind to write,
if I'm not too tired, in which case I'll try to resume in the morning.
