This case began on November 25, 2008. Margaret and I had just bought 
groceries at the Stop & Shop market when my cell phone rang, and my
daughter-in-law Laura called to read a certified letter from the
plumbing inspector that my son Klemens had received, an official order
to cease and desist and abate illegal plumbing.
