This evening I had a telephone call from a painter who will come 
to look and negotiate tomorrow, 4-19-2917, at 6 p.m. 
He is also willing to assist with the windows.

Please advise and/or consent:

1. Painting, 1 coat on upper front door columns and portico.

2. I would arrange to have the painter assist me in positioning 
the upstairs replacement windows while I fasten them. 
I believe I have an efficient strategy:

a) remove existing sashes and weights
b) using an accurate template, install lateral and superior plywood fillers
c) leaving storm windows in place until assistant arrives
d) have assistant remove storm windows and storm window frames.
e) have assistant place and steady replacement window while I tether
   it with screws.

Of course, I would rather help you with the windows, but I thought you
might like to get this work out of the way.

Please let me know your thoughts on these matters before tomorrow evening.
