Dear Marion, Thank you for your e-mail, which tells me that both your computer and you are functioning and that you are improving. Although Klemens and I have been back for three days, the trip to Minnesota has left me with an aura of disorientation that has not yet entirely dissipated. I'm pleased that I could be of a little bit of help with your apartment. I enjoyed the excursion very much. Unless my memory is tricking me, it was, aside from commuting to Konnarock and Nantucket, the first time in twenty-five years that I ventured away from Belmont. A trip with SunCountry Airlines has turned out to be the crowning luxury of my old age. I keep on trying to write, and now that you have a computer so close at hand, we can exchange notes as frequently as you wish, but tonight I feel addled and can think of nothing more to write. Please be sure to let me know if there is anything that I can do for you. You will be very much on my mind. For now, good night. I hope you sleep well. Jochen
