Dear Marion, Please accept my apologies for not having answered sooner. Compared to yours my medical problems are trivial, but nonetheless real, and they keep me from what I would like to be doing. The Kosher chicken salad which you gave me was the last real food which I've had. (The sandwich which Klemens bought for me at the Airport wasn't nearly as good,) and since then I haven't had anything of substance to eat or drink. I feel too weak to do anything but lie in bed, which is what I've been doing for the past week. Surprisingly, I'm not impatient, and I'm pleased not to have to get up. You asked about my writing, which you can find collected at http://home.earthlink.net/~ernstmeyer The writing of others you can find easily enough by "googling" the author's name. You will get more than you asked for. If you wish me to suggest some topics potentially of interest to both of us, I'll be glad to try to oblige, but perhaps on another day. Meanwhile my very best wishes to you for continuing convalescence. Jochen
