Today's mail included Marion's new Medicare card confirming her enrollment in Medicare Part B, as of July 1, 2017. Inasmuch as the last video image understandably showed an open front door of the house, my compulsiveness persuaded me to (try to) turn on the computer to get a final set of images, to document that the door was closed, although I have no reason to think that you forgot to lock it. What happened is that I was able to turn the computer on. It made a telephone connection but failed - for one reason or another - to transmit the computer's Internet address to my website. Hence I can't log into the computer, can't obtain images, can't turn the computer off. When I try to telephone, I get a busy signal. This situation happens two or three times a year. Usually the telephone line stays "busy" for several hours. The next morning the busy signal has disappeared, the phone rings, and the computer can be turned on and will again connect to the telephone and send its Internet address as it should. I will try again tomorrow morning to access the computer by telephone. If the busy signal should persist, you might or might not, before you leave the Island, want to drive out to Madaket to recycle the computer manually. I don't consider it critical and will keep you informed by e-mail. I don't want to disrupt your last full day on the Island.
