Dear Alex, Thinking about the issues of the quality of society which concerned us, I have no answers but only questions. Obviously human nature is plastic and malleable. Should schooling, can schooling affect the social/political behavior of student? To what extent, if any, are "our" schools responsible for "our" society? What is the effect of exposure to religious experience, or religious indoctrination on character and behavior? Who is to determine what is "good" and what is "true". According to Adam Smith it's a free-for- all. According to the 1st Amendment, the Government has no say about religion. Depends on what you call religion. Is absence of religion, religion? I have only questions, no answers. Kove, Jochen
