Julianne M Accounting/Collections Budget Dumpster, LLC Dear Julianne M I have received your invoice #603289228 for $28.75 on the grounds that the dumpster which you retrieved from the driveway at 174 School Street in Belmont at about 7 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 was filled with 2500 lbs. of trash. I dispute your claim because I personally filled the dumpster, I personally weighed the heavy items that it contained and I know precisedly what I put into it. The dumpster was ordered to facilitate the removal of 22 old double hung windows and 22 aluminum framed storm windows. Specifically seven windows from the first floor, ten windows from the second floor, and five windows from the third floor. Each window had two sashes, and each sash was supported by two cast iron weights. I weighed four of the weights of the largest windows and found that each weight weighed five pounds. Since each of 22 windows was supported by 20 lbs of weight, each window weighed 20 lbs, and therefore I disposed of 22 window assemblies each weighing 40 lbs., an aggregate of 880 pounds. The foregoing overstates the actual weight, because the five windows and their weights from the third floor were smaller and weighed considerably less than 40 lbs per window. In addition, I disposed of 44 aluminum framed storm window panes, each of which weighed 4 lbs, and 22 aluminum storm window frames each of which weighed two pounds, making an aggregate of 1100 lbs of disposed windows. I also disposed of a set of four one-half inch iron pipes weighing 50 lbs, and a 4x6x10 ft wooden beam weighing 50 lbs, making a total weight of 1200 lbs or approximately one half of the 2500 lbs for which you have charged me. Please provide me with an invoice from the landfill at which the trash was purportedly weighed. Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely yours, Ernst J. Meyer
