Additional information about getting fiberglass insulation I estimated threshold puchases of fiberglass insulation for walls and ceiling to aggregate 200 cu ft and 700 pounds. I then telephoned Cape Cod Express about their transportation charges but was told that payments for transportation would be charged by and paid to Home Depot. On further inquiry at Hyannis Home Depot, I was told that the two pallets in issue (R-15 at $517.39, and R-30 at $564.53) would be delivered to Nantucket for an additional $160.00. One potentential problem is that the pallets are so heavy that we would depend on Cape Cod Express to set them into our minivan, with which we would transport them perhaps one pallet at a time to Madaket, open the pallet in the minivan, and carry packages of insulation into the house one at a time. Obviously, this is something which I can't do ... Is it something that you should take upon yourself?
