I spoke to Nathaniel just now. Benjamin was just about to take the dog for a=
 walk. Nathaniel was composed. His primary care physician, a sensible woman i=
n her late 40s whom I selected for him, is doing stool studies. He says that=
 he told you that the dog was ruining his life because that=E2=80=99s what h=
e thought you wanted to hear. However, he was distraught enough that night t=
o call Laura. I think that it is impossible to distinguish poetry from drama=
 from truth, and I think that we should go to Konnarock tomorrow as planned,=
 leaving perhaps about 8 am.=20

The naming ceremony party for Rae occurs at our house at 4 pm. It will be ab=
out 20 people. My recommendation is that you not attend, because I think you=
 will find it objectionable. Rebekah has asked me to videotape it; she regre=
ts having had the wedding ceremony photographed only, not recorded. I never e=
ncountered a technical task by which I wasn=E2=80=99t pleased to be occupied=
. If you choose to come, I will try to make you as comfortable as possible.=20=


If I can evade the draft to participate in last minute party preparation, an=
d if it is not raining, I will mow the front lawn of 174 School Street when I=
 return from my 11:15-12:15 music lesson.=20
