1) I do not have the Nantucket tax bill which is mailed to 178 School Street.  Unlike on previous occasions, I cannot find out the amount of the tax by telephoning the Nantucket tax collector. For several hours this morning all calls to Nantucket Town Offices were routed to the Police Department.  Now the Tax Collectors office replies with a recorded message that its voice mail box is full. How shall we proceed?

2) Under the circumstances, it seems reasonable for you, if you wish, to cancel the trip to Wisconsin later this month.  I can also understand that you might want to go without me. I would prefer to come along, but can manage if left behind.

3) The air-conditioned third floor School Street side room in the Addition is cool, neat and clean and is available to you for practicing violin or working.
