Dear Nick, Thank you for both your letters. In answer to your questions: 1) I should be happy to be visited by you, tomorrow or any other time. If you will telephone when you are ready to come, I will wait for you in the kitchen, with the back (kitchen) door open. 2) Internet access to my writing is at http://home.earthlink.net/~ernstmeyer/ Here is the index: 1 Vorwort 2 Preface (English) 3 Portal zur Werkstatt 4 Auswanderung 5 Litigation (English) 6 Gedichte 7 Oden 8 Romane, Urspruengliche Fassung 9 Tagebuecher 10 Notes (English) 11 Glaucoma Letters (English) 12 Book Group (English) All texts are in German except as otherwise noted. Item 3. is a link to an apache2 http server situated on one of my computers at home, on which I have placed, or will place (if I live) documentation (in .pdf, .txt, and/or .odt files) of my collection of my family's intellectual efforts from 1819 to the present. Since I have had no readers, I have kept the computer with the apache2 server turned "off", prepared to turn it "on", as needed. The present and obviously remediable technological limitation is the limited band width of "uploading" from my machine to the Internet which at present makes the transfer of large .pdf files time consuming. I anticipate with pleasure talking with you. Jochen
