Dear Haran,

Thanks very much for appending "Ashes Of Love" to your e-mail.  I read the first half from page 1 to page 25, the second half backwards from page 50 to page 26. I will read (some of) its pages again, and in a few days I will write to you - not my thoughts, because thoughts don't exist, - but what goes through my mind, what I think about, when I read it.

Tomorrow morning (August 11) at 6 a.m., my son Klemens and I are off to Nantucket to nudge toward a very distant completion the house there for which I obtained a building permit 13 years ago! We will return at noon on August 13, 2018. I'll report to you again within a week.
