Nathaniel told me he was trying to hire someone to walk the dog twice a 
day, so that he, Nathaniel could go to Nantucket. This means that he 
would be abandoning the dog in my? house, making it impossible for me to 
go to Konnarock. You have asked me not to trouble you with this matter, 
which for me has been a five months' nightmare. That is why I did not, 
and I do not ask for your help. I will deal with it myself as best I can.
