I'm uncertain whether it's wise or constructive for me to comment, but I hope what I say will not make matters more difficult. I'm concerned above all for Nathaniel's emotional well-being. I am quite prepared to accept the existing situation into an indefinite future. I do NOT want to separate Nathaniel from his dog. I certainly do not want Nathaniel to feel rejected and ejected from 174 School Street. Nathaniel needs a home, and I am willing to try to provide it for him. I would like Nathaniel to have what is best for him. I have difficulty imagining how Nathaniel and the dog would manage together in an apartment. I'm concerned that in an apartment, things might go from bad to worse. I'm prepared to try to do whatever I can to help.
