Liebe Margrit, .PP I decided the long letter to you which I drafted, and which I mentioned on the telephone is far too ruminative to be helpful, and our feelings and thoughts being as complex as they are, it is best to try to keep matters simple. .PP I think back on Helmut's visit to Konnarock with a great deal of satisfaction, and I have the impression that you also enjoyed it. Margaret reminded me that you will be visiting the Ludwigs in June, and I hope that on the way there or back you will have time to stop in Konnarock while Klemens and Laura and the children are there. And then maybe if you and Billy are in the Boston area later in the summer, you will stay here and we will have a chance to see something of Billy as well. Margaret suggested we at least have dinner together. .PP Please sign, date and return the enclosed statement to me for my records. It does not require to be notarized. I hereby amend the Meyer Family Trust #2, dated February 26, 1990. I authorize the trustee to charge to the trust one half of all costs of maintaining the Meyer family residence in Konnarock, Virginia. This trust may be amended or revoked at any time only by the joint action of myself and any trustee. If it is then still in existence, this trust shall terminate upon my death or upon the death or mental incapacity of the survivor of Ernst J. Meyer, Klemens B. Meyer and Margaret Meyer. This amendment shall replace all provisions of the trust with which it is inconsistent. This amendment shall not be construed to limit the powers of the trustee. ________________________________ May ______, 1994
