Preparatory to the inspection which the car will undergo before I am permitted to drive it into the Terminal B Garage at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, I have removed the bulky package of plastic shelving which we plan to take to Nantucket, and placed it in the garage. At the same time, using the hand truck, I wheeled the five 24 bottle packages to a spot next to the south wall of the garage, intending to keep them outside until spring. If they burst from freezing and drain in the thaw, the empty bottles could easily be recycled. If when spring comes, the bottles were still intact, we would then reconsider what to do next. I respectfully suggest you leave the spring water bottles where I placed them. There is room for them neither in the garage nor in the basement. And most important: I'm much concerned that either you or Nathaniel might get hurt carrying the superfluous freight down or up the stairs.
