Dear Nick,

a) Thank you for coming. I enjoyed our conversation

b) which corroborated my belief that words, such as "cogito" are pointers, analogous to pointers in C language, that "point" to otherwise inaccessible subjective experience which is masked by the verbal ping-pong of scholasticism and by the mental gymnastics of mathematics.

c) To get started writing, try letters. They are more natural than journalism or poetry or formal essays. Put into a letter without censoring whatever comes into your mind, "in real time". If you have no one else to write to, write to me. I'll reply as best I can.

d) stay away from drugs. They are like uncharted precipices from which one is
promised a superior view (of oneself and of ones world.) Hypothetical benefits
are speculative, but falling off a cliff is devastating to body and soul.
