The Nantucket computer which you carried back, booted when I replaced
the battery. However a replacement for the hard (IDE) drive which I 
cannibalized and left on the Island is no longer sold. I bought an (SATA) 
replacement (250 Gb) for $9.99, but the IDE-SATA adapter which Microcenter 
sold me fits only the IDE motherboard connection, but does not fit the 
SATA drive with which it was sold.

The snow has tapered, and the depth on the ground appears so shallow that
snow blowing may not be appropriate. I expect to be at Logan at 11:15 p.m.
