I infer that the Tim has done all the tiling, floors, tub enclosures and shower stall, except in the east first floor bathroom where he has done nothing with the excuse that he could not tile the floor without removing the toilet, and that he couldn't remove the toilet, a) because he's not a plumber, and because he needed to use it, thereforenit's my fault because I didn't insist on renting a porta-potty, which up to this point, Tim had no intention of using. As I mentioned to you, it's my experience that Tim never finishes anything. The matter is complicated by the circumstance that the plumber installed only one open toilet flange, which we have been using. The other three toilet flanges have seals which must be broken by gently tapping them with a chisel, more than I could expect from Tim. The reason for the seals is to protect the workmen from poisonous sewer gasses. Inferring from past experience, I consider it possible that my request that he finish the tiling before he leaves, may make Tim angry, he may drop everything and leave in a huff. The last time he drove off saying he would never return to Nantucket again. But money is a powerful persuader.
