I hope you are happy and well. I've dealt with the immediate practical problems confronting me: The food I brought back yesterfay should serve until after Labor Day. I've positioned the new mailbox in the center of a cinderblock cairn, cancelled 617-489-1043, switched my $49.95 monthly Earthlink DSL account to a $10.00 monthly Earthlink "mailbox" account, which secures my old e-mail address, ernstmeyer@earthlink.net. I plan to let my @gmail.com account hibernate. The older I get, the more onerous I find it to adopt new technical tricks and keep track of new "login"s and passwords. I'm aware also of the vacuous pseudo-rationality and pseudoreality spawned by the new technology of "apps", text "messages", "tweets", etc. Instead, I retreat to the world of my own memory and imagination.
