This is the message I sent yesterday that you may not have seen. I received the forward of Tim's message saying that he is arriving on Sunday November 10. ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Klemens Meyer Date: Sun, Nov 3, 2019 at 7:17 PM Subject: Re: Please advise and consent To: Ernst Meyer I would like bookshelves in those two locations. I would prefer built-in bookcases, like those in our piano room and computer room, rather than shelves resting on brackets affixed to the walls. I find bookcases more elegant. I would also put bookcases on the west wall of the upper atrium, on the east wall of the dining room, and in the southwest corner of the dining room. The southwest corner of the dining room is where I had imagined locating the record player, receiver, CD and DVD player, and it might be better to defer installation of shelves in that location, so as to design shelves optimal for this purpose. It is my memory that we did not install sliding doors between the dining room and the kitchen. If that is correct, I would also consider building a bookcase against the northwest wall of the dining room, to the left of the door to the kitchen. I suspect that more space may be needed to store china and glassware than the kitchen cabinets provide, and this would be an appropriate location. One could subsequently add solid or glass doors if cabinets seemed more appropriate. If for any reason you do not want to ask Tim to install built-in book cases, I would prefer shelves to not making provision for storing books, records and compact disks. It is not necessary for Tim to cover the low voltage box at the top center of the north wall of the upper atrium. I plan to install a WiFi extender at that location very soon. I believe that I purchased some covers for the low voltage boxes, and that these are in a box on the next to top level of the southeast shelving unit in the basement. Tim could use these, obviously without making any connections. I also don’t object to covering the boxes with easily removed wooden covers. I will call later this evening.
