Dear Ed, Dear Carolyn, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! to both and to each of you. The address for which you ask is: Ernst J. Meyer, 174 School Street, Belmont, Massachusetts, 02478. You should receive the check from Bank of America this week. Please let me know if it doesn't arrive. Thank you especially for letting me know about your problems. In my very old age, I conclude that one of our greatest and most important achievements is to be happy and content when one is ill, - and - dare I say it, especially then. My difficulties in walking and moving around in general are becoming worse, so that I'm grateful to be able to get around by myself at all. This morning I had to get down on my knees to clean up the bathroom floor, and when that happens, it's always touch and go, whether I can get up again. This morning I made it, but it's inevitable that some morning in the future I'll just have to stay there. Whether it will be responsible, or even possible, for me to try to get to Konnarock in April or May, I don't yet know. I will have to wait to find out. Meanwhile we should keep in tough by e-mail. I think of you a lot; if only that would help! Again, best wishes for Christmas and the New Year! Ernst
