There's no emergency. I have enough food for a week to keep me from getting hungry. What I would buy if I wend grocery shopping today: one large or two small bottles of generic calcium carbonate. two bags of generic (signature) cough drops, any "flavor". not fewer than two, but perhaps as many as six tubs of Brown & Brumell yogurt spread. "(If not available: "Can't believe it's not butter" or substitute two two pound chunks of sharp cheddar or extra sharp cheddar cheese (generic $9.99 each) not fewer than two, but perhaps as many as four packages of ("chewey") or other "Chips Ahoy" Chocolate cookies) if on sale, for not more than $3.00 per package. otherwise the same amount of "Oreo" cookies. If more than $3 per package, no cookies at all. four cans of "Signatrure" tomato soup one can of crushed or pureed tomatoes two one pound packages or one five pound package of generic granulated sugar two packages of "signature" light brown sugar one or two large container(s) of 5 minute generic "Quaker Oats" (Signature) two bottles of unhealthy high fructose corn syrup for less that $3.00 each. These are displayed below below the exorbitantly expensive maple syrup which I would NEVER buy because the prices would make me sick two small ring cakes ($3.99 each) and two raspberry or other coffee cakes (not more than $5.00 each) Sometimes the equivalent almost outdated Pepperidge Farm products can be boughts for $3.75 each. three loaves of in-store baked bread, ($2.99 each) either white bread with or without sesame (but no caraway!) seeds or dark, firm "european style" bread. No more than three loaves of bread in all. If easier to find, the Pepperidge Farn "Italian" bread which you previously bpught is also very good. One or two 1 pound packages of sliced "Black Forest" ham or turkey or chicken, "Hillshire" is often the least expensive, not more than $6.00 each. Thank you. If not convenient to get all of thbis, get some of it. If it's not convenient to get any, I can order most of it from Amazon, or get it myselt when the ice has melted. Please don't go to too much trouble for me.
