When at Home Depot, in addition to items already specified, please get two small boxes (12-25 screws in each) of drywall anchors with screws, one box with screws between 1 and 1.75 inches long, the other box with screws between 1.75 and 2.5 inches long. Drywall, as you know, does not retain ordinary screws. The anchor screws are used by drilling a hole of a specific critical size into the drywall, then inserting the anchor into the drywall, and finally by forcing the screw through the 1/2" or 3/4" plywood to be mounted and into the anchor, expanding the anchor so that it will be retained. A drill bit of critical size is needed. If such a bit is not included with the package of screws, please ascertain from the directions on the package what the size should be, and buy in addition a separate bit for each size of anchor screw. The immediate need for such anchor screws is to mount a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" plywood on the plastered wall behind the stove as a base for the electric receptacle.
